Pray as a priest, speak as a king

Wow, I want learn how to pray like a priest and speak like a king. No one can stop me from learning. It is up to me and my God. South Africa and Namibia are blessed to have many Christian. Still may people in South Africa are yet to hear the good news of Christ’s salvation. This is why it is important for us God’s people to pay for Christian ministries, ministers of the gospel and fellow believers in the effort to evangelize the nation.

Praying like a priest it will take some times because it requires experience. One has to put in lots of afford so that the people knows what one is trying to say. At the end of the day the people have to learn something from you. Any come can become a preacher as long as you know that word of God. As one pray, you’ll see visions of God. You‘ll see sinners not only coming to Christ, but also preaching the gospel and winning other. How nice is that. You will see when the church is packed with people

If you do this, you’ll be functioning in your office as praying priest and reigning king. It will be better you take some time to pray for the impact of the gospel of Lord Jesus Christ in South Africa and Namibia.

Who are we to judge Caster Semenye?

Caster Semenye is eighteen year old athletics from South Africa who recently won gold mental at the World championships in Berlin has been thrown into a spotlight. After winning it was not due to the victory but it was on Semenye gender status.

My question is: who are we to judge the poor person, Semenye? According to the bible God says not one has the right to judge other people. People made it sound like Semenye is not a human being. Shame! We are a hurting the poor Semenye, who is bringing medals to South Africa. South African people should be happy and celebrating together with Semenye’s victory. It seems like the people of South Africa are more concern about our champion gender status. Which semenye and her parents don’t feel like saying it to anybody. The media on the other hand is still pushing to find out weather semenye is a man or woman. I think we should wait until semenye is ready to tell us. We should not force because against the law to reveal other people’s personal information on the media without promise from the person.

Please people stop judging other people and let us wait until semenye is ready to tell us and not to conclude ourselves.

What motivate me?

What are question? This question is very deep. Let me see how I am going to answer this question. According to oxford dictionary it defines motivation as the activation or energization of goal-oriented behavior. What I know about motivation it can be internal or external.

In 2007 I used to work for Namdeb Mining Company in Namibia as Communication Officer. I was motivated by seeing the whole communication department working together as a team and the job is always done propely at the right time. This had motivated me to work in a company where they allow people to work in a team and share ideas. To me honest, that is what I’m looking for in a company and it motivate me to do my best. Another thing what motivate me is when I’m making progress in all my subjects especially that this year is my last year here at CPUT. I really feel encourage do study and do my assignments on time. That what I like when things are going well.

I’m praying everyday for God to encourage me to do my best so that I can be like other people who are working in public relations industries writing articles and organising events. It is a good feeling when one is motivated because you end up doing the right thing.

students protest at CPUT

Cape Peninsula University of Technology is the only university of technology in the Western Cape Province. It has over 29 000 students.

CPUT this year protest for various issue such as an increase tuition fee for 2010 and poor maintain facilities. This has cause vandalise and disruption of class at CPUT. The students that were protesting have damage items such as tables, chairs compute and lots more. The staff and management find it very difficulty to do their job properly because the facilities or equipments were damage by the students.

The first protest was in April when the student protest for poorly maintained facilities. Students were demanding for more television, stoves, fridge and washing machine. It was not as violence as the second protest. The second was in August 2009 and the students express their anger over the tremendous increase in registration fees for 2010. The students have to pay on upfront tuition fees for R 3000 to R 5000 for students that live in residences and R 1800 – R 3000 for those who live off campus. The students are complaining that they don’t have that amount of money. They want their voice to be heard.

CPUT had a bad reputation this year because there were so many protests. From now on people will have a negative attitude toward CPUT. Parents will send their children to other university of technology around South Africa but not CPUT.

I think it would be better if CPUT identify a spokesperson for the institution to avoid misunderstanding. Management, staff and students must be communicate on time.

"Bunch of animals" is one comment on CPUT strikes in August. What is yours?

O my Gosh, why are we (students) called a bunch of animals and why are they referring us to animals? Are we not human beings? Do you think it has to do with our behaviour or what? That’s what I think. When people are referred to an animal that means they don’t use their brain at all, what they can think of is to vandalise and complain the next day. “Bunch of animals” one can see them vandelising the institution properties and hitting each other for no reasons.

Please people, don’t do this again. The next generation still needs to use this institution. Education is for everyone who wants to pursue his or her career at CPUT. In my own opinion I would say there were a bunch of hooligans at CPUT and those hooligans think they can get away with everything since they are part of this institution. They will strike until they vandalise the institution properties, forgetting that they will come back to the very same institution and wanting to use those computers, projectors and libratories they have vandalize. When those equipments are not working they want to strike for the new equipments. It seems like we are paying our fees for nothing because at the end of the day we don’t do work due to the strike. That is unfair for some of the students who are not protesting and not vandalising at the same time.

Students please don’t behave like animals learn to talk to the management.
